240/(x-4)=y+5
240=(x-4)(y+5)
240=xy+5x-4y-20
260=240+5x-4y
20=5x-4y
20=5x-4×240/x
20x=5x^2-960
5x^2-20x-960=0
x^2-4x-192=0
by factorization
x=6
substitute it in eq.1
then y=15
so y=240/x -eq.1
