Let no: of rows be 'x'
Its arranged in rows so as to make a perfect square.
Total plants = 3609
Plants left after arrangement = 9
Hence plants in perfect square rows = 3609-9 = 3600
When number of rows= number of plants in each row, we obtaon a perfect square.
hence number of plants in each row is also 'x'
Given x*x = 3600
x = 60
Hence there are 60 rows and 60 plants in front row.
Hope it helps
