Some substance cannot live in gaseous state and some in liquid. Explain statement by giving examples. Plzzzzz answer this fast!! !

Some substance cannot live in gaseous state and some in liquid because the molecules of solid are tightly packed with each other whereas the molecules of liquid are slightly far away from each other.Both the states  can only be converted into another state by the process of evaporation,boiling,sublimation in certain cases. For ex.water vapour can live in gaseous state & nail polish remover can be in liquid state when exposed in room temp. it evaporates in air.
