Some sugar can be added to a glass full of water without containing any Overflow ,,because "we know that matter have its mass or volume and also it occupies spaces between them" ____so when sugar added to water it take place in the space between water without any overflow....

Some sugar can be added to a glass full of water without containing any overflow because there is some space between the molecules of water and when we add some sugar into it then the particles of sugar takes the empty space between the molecules of water
