some toffees are bought at the rate of 11 for rs 10 and the same number at the rate of 9 for rs 10. if the whole lot is sold at one ruppee per toffee find the gain or loss in whole transaction

He is neither at profit nor at loss  

where he buys 11 toffees for rs 10

                         9 toffees for rs 10

                         ______________

                        20 toffees for rs 20

                        _______________

now he sell that toffee for 1 rupee per toffee 20 x 1 = 20

he gets 20 rs for it there he is  neither at profit nor at loss
