in first condition
CP of 11 toffee=₹10
CP of 1 toffee=₹10/11
in second condition
CP of 9 toffee =₹10
CP of 1 toffee=₹10/9
therefore, CP of both toffees=₹10/11+₹10/9
==₹200/99
so, cp of 1 toffee=200/99÷2
==₹100/99
sp of 1 toffee =₹1(given)
loss=cp-sp
=100/99-1
=₹1/99
loss percent=1/99/100/99*100
=1 percent loss
ans =1%
thank

Answer:

The loss in the whole transaction is 1/99 Rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

When cost of 11 toffees is 10 then cost of 1 toffee is = 10/11 .

When cost of 9 toffe is 10 then cost of 1 toffee is = 10/9.

Cost of 2 toffee is = (10/11)+(10/9) = 200/99 .

Cost of 1 toffee = (200/99)/2 = 100/99.

Selling price of 1 toffee is 1 Rs.

Loss = (100/99)-1 = 1/99 Rs.
