2C8H18 + 25 O2 ⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒16CO2+ 18H2O
this is our given reaction
now i will answer ur question 1by1
1)=> ur question is how many many moles of CO2 prepared when 1 mole of octane is burned
so here we can use universal method
if 2C8H18 =======> 16CO2
then 1C8H18 ==========> 16/2 CO2
which means 8CO2
8 moles of CO2 will prepared when 1 mole of octane is burn

2) => what volume at STP is occupied by the number of moles determined in 1
which means 22.4 liter at stp produce 1 mole so ans is 22.4 little

3) => if the rmm of CO2 = 44   when 2 moles of octane burn we get 8 moles of co2
here rmm of co2 = 44
and no of moles of co2 = 8
so given mass / molar mass = 8
given mass of co2 = 8*rmm of co2
mass of co2 = 8*44 =  352
4)=> C8H18 emperical formula = simple ratio so here we can find that 8:18 = 4:9 so
C4H9 is the emperical formula of octane

question 14 /Answer 14) ......................................:-
----
  35Cl
  17
and
37 Cl
17
35cl17 / 37CL17 = 3/1
35cl17 = 3 (37CL17)
rmm = 35 + 3*37 =  35 +  111 =  146

gohan: Thanks a lot
