the components of the parallel vector must be in the same ratio
so,
m/2 = -2/-n = 2/1
m/2 = 2
m=4
2/n = 2
n=1
therefore the values of m and n are 4,1 respectively
so,
m/2 = -2/-n = 2/1
m/2 = 2
m=4
2/n = 2
n=1
therefore the values of m and n are 4,1 respectively
