ok,so in simple terms DNA replecation simply means making copies of our DNA,or say genes which help in the inheritance of characters for parents to offsprings.DNA replication is an important process in reproduction process since the proteins have to be carried out from parent to child ,if no DNA replication takes place the zygot would not be able to grow.

somtimes,the DNA replication process face some problems or say proteins are not replicated exactly as we know no biological catalysis process is exact this creates DNA mutations,which are further cause for variation.
