Someone please give me the difference between simple, complex and compound sentences. Plzzzz help me by giving justified answer. If correct I will mark it as Brainliest ☺️

Simple sentence:


Has one subject and one predicate.

For example. The sun is a dwarf star.


Compound sentence:

Has two or more principal or main clauses.


For example. She must weep or she will die.


Complex sentence:


Has one main clause and one or more subordinate clauses.

For example. Man is guided by reason, and beast by instinct.

a compound sentence consist of 2 or more independent clauses
a complex sentences as at least 1 independent clause plus atleast 1 dependent clause
