this can be solved by using the kinematic equation of motion s=ut + 1/2at^2
s=0*t ( since initial velocity is zero ) +1/2*5*4*4
s= 40m
hope this helps

(initial velocity) u = 0 m/s (as body starts from rest)

a = 5m/s²

t = 4s

distance travelled (s) = ?

∵ s = ut + 1/2at²

∴ s = 0×4 + 1/2 × 5 × 4²

⇒ s = 0 + 1/2 × 80

⇒ s (distance travelled) = 40m
