someone please tell me how to become a moderator... i have been waiting for more than a year! seriously! please :)

If there is an existing community you’re interested in moderating that already has a mod team, keep the following tips in mind:

1.  Establish yourself as a positive and knowledgeable member of the community.

2.  Watch the community for mod volunteer and application threads posted by moderators and then comment or apply.

3.  Reach out to the moderators and ask if they are looking for new moderators. Give sincere examples of how you’d like to help them and the community.

4.  Be patient.
