hi mate ,

this is neutralisation reaction in which an acid and a base reacts to form a neutral substance called salt and water.

your question is :

HX + MOH ------- MX + HOH

where X is any of the halogens and M is any of the metals .

for example:

HCl + NaOH --------- NaCl + H2O

here NaCl is a salt called common salt.
