Hey there.....

Merchant of Venice is tough.....so just learning the important points is good enough.
The dialogues of the 3 suitors, Portia’s speech in Act IV,character sketch of all the characters and the meaning of the scrolls are very important.
Another important thing to know is the mood of the character with respect to the context they give.
Having a paraphrase makes Merchant of Venice easier to learn( the meanings become easier to understand)
Remembering all the holy scripture references and Shylock’s constantly changing feelings are also important.

If you learn these points(other points are also needed but not that important),you will surely get 14-16 marks in a question(for ICSE)

Comment if any doubt....
And please mark my answer as the brainliest!!!

Hi friend,
First of all..... Don't be scared to read it
All you have to do is read the passage and then if u have merchant of Venice notes then u can read it... First u have to understand the passage then only then u can get the points... Make ur own questions and then try to make answers for them....

If this seems hard... I suggest few books which I've bought and these books really helped me a lot...

1. ICSE Self study in English Literature - In this book, they give u the type of questions which may come in exams..

2. Allied publishers Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice- In this book they give u questions and answers for each and every line of a passage...

Believe me if u r gonna read these books.. No one can beat u in Merchant of Venice.... I've experienced that....

Hope this helps you.....
