Answer:

The three numbers are 3,5 and 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, three numbers are x, y and z.

According to the question, sum of three numbers is 15

so, x + y + z = 15 .......(i)

second number is subtracted from the sum of first and third numbers and we get 5. So the equation is :

x + z - y = 5 .......(ii)

third number is subtracted from the sum of twice the first number and the second number then we get 4. And the equation is

2x + y - z = 4 .......(iii)

Now we have to find out value of x, y and z

For that, subtract equation (ii) from equation (i)

=> 2y = 10

=> y = 5

Add equation (ii) + equation (iii)

3x= 9

=> x = 3

put the values of x & y in eq (i)

3 + 5 + z = 15

=> z = 7

So, the three numbers are 3 , 5 and 7.
