Hey there!

The dead sea is greatly known for being one of the saltiest bodies of water in the world.

Neither Pisces (fish) nor algae can possibly survive in such sea water which is approx. 10 times Saltier than other oceans.
So it becomes just like a Death trap for them.

That's why sea is called DEAD SEA.

The surface and shores of the Dead Sea are 423 metres (1,388 ft) below sea level, which is Earth’s lowest elevation on land.

HOPE IT HELPED ^_^

Something about dead sea!

  1. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on Earth at 430.5 meters below sea level.
  2. It's called so because its high salinity prevents macroscopic aquatic organisms.
  3. Its salt concentration is a staggering 33.7%, 8.6 times saltier than ocean water, which is only about 3.5% salt.
  4. Because of its high salt content person cannot sink into it.
