Voice actress Aina Suzuki will perform the opening theme "Motto Takaku." Sumire Uesaka, Yui Ichikawa, Miyu Tomita and Aina Suzuki will perform the ending theme "LET'S CLIMB↑" as their characters under the "Hanamiya Joshi Climbing Club" unit name.
Tetsuro Amino (Nijiiro Days) is directing the series at animation studio Blade, and Touko Machida (Sounan Desu ka?) is handling the series composition. Yoshihiro Watanabe (Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst) is serving as the character designer and chief animation director. Tsubasa Itou (Princess Connect! Re:Dive) is composing the music.
Ryudai Ishizaka's original sports web manga began serialization on the Cycomics website in December 2017 and ended in May last year. A sequel manga launched the following month. Kodansha published the first two volumes of the original manga in 2018. Shogakukan re-released the two volumes and the last two volumes digitally on April 30. The third volume of the sequel manga was released digitally on August 28.
