The entire universe exists and this has not been explained by science without making huge assumptions. These are assumptions which are based off of observable facts but the assumptions themselves are impossible to prove. Such as Big Bang and expansion theories. We can assume that one or both of these is correct but because our observation point is within this universe we cannot possibly have an all encompassing view of space/time. We can map the different distances to far away points but are limited to the speed of light high means that what we see today happened 10^n years ago. It is possible that we cannot see the rest of the universe because it is moving away from us faster than light can travel. Or we are moving away from it. Or it’s all an elaborate simulation being run on a computer like machine and they can change the parameters at will so that as we approach the edge more room is dedicated to the program. Or God did it. Or this is all just a dream and we will all wake up from a communal acid trip and it will be 10,000 BCE. Maybe we are on an intergalactic space mission and this keeps our conciousness entertained while our bodies are in stasis. Who knows? Who really cares? Besides all of us looking for the answers.
