Colour blindness can appear in son but not in daughter...

Colour blindness is a X linked recessive trait..

So if the mother is carrier( behaviourally normal) ( XcX) and the father is also normal XY...there are 50% chances for son to be colour-blind...as X chromosome in son will be acquired from his mother...
