No, I do not support it. In similar situation I will take my cloth bag and if the thing is one or two in number and small I will try to handle him by hand . This is what I can do. I will also try to educate other people about the disadvantages of plastic bags

In this situation we have to bring cloths bag or can reuse our polythene bags . If in any situation we cannot bring our old polythene bags or cloths bag then we can take a new poly bag but we have to not throw it anywhere because this can cause land pollution and we can also use our new poly bags to shop again and again .
