Nose is a sense organ of smell. Holding the nose while taking medicines enables us to take in the medicine without sensing its bad smell. ... Hence, on blocking the nose we are able to neither smell nor taste the medicine properly{\huge{\underline{\small{\mathbb{\pink{HOPE \ THIS \ HELPED \ UH♡}}}}}}

Answer:

Because most medicines have a bad smell (yeah, it's true). So, people just shut off their nose to avoid that frickn' bad smell... and take the medicine peacefully without vomiting (ofc bcoz of the smell)

Hope it helps you :)
