Well, the simplest reason for railway tracks curving is "Heating"
We know that the heating causes metal to expand so in the summer or during the sunlight heating cause the metal to expand . If there is no enough space between the railway track the metal will not find the space to expand resulting in curved railway tracks .
This situation can easily be avoided by just giving appropriate space to the rail tracks to expand. Tracks will not get curved if they got space to expand.

Answer: we know that heating causes the metal to expand same as if there are no space between railway tracks they will not expand but when they got enough space to expand and get curved...
They can be avoided by making tunnels so that tracks will not recieve heat by sunlight..............
