sometimes we keep plants inside home.How do they get light to make food?

hello friend ,
if u are know about C4 ,C3 & *CAM pathway* plants then u can get it.
some plants don't synthesis their food in day such as tulsi ....becoz their photosynthesis occur by CAM path way I.e in night and more important ...they{cam pathway plants } release oxygen in night where as c3 and c4 pathway release cow in night time
