Son a cleaning day Pulkit spent 1/4 hour and 2/5
hour cleaning two classrooms respectively
(a) Find the total time spent by him
(6) How much longer time did the spend in
cleaning the second classroom.

time spent in cleaning first room.
1/4×60=15 minutes.
in second room.
2/5×60=24
total time spent=39 minutes. (15+24)
more time in cleaning second room
24-15=9 minutes.
