And then equipping the students with the skills to help make the world a better, happier place. That happens when you are happy yourself. I think when education is used just as a ritual, sometimes even with unknown goals (because you copy some other place and some other people). That is one challenge facing most of the world that you don't know why (you educator) and you just do it as a mindless ritual because some others did it that way. It may have helped their context or may not even, but you are made to repeat it. Most of the colonized world is put through this process.
