USE THE MOUSE TO POINT TO INCREASE CELL WIDTH.
Sonia is preparing project details in a spreadsheet. Some text in a cell is too long and get hidden when she types text in the adjacent cell on the right.
- Column A can be made wider or narrower by clicking and holding down the left mouse button while dragging the double-headed arrow. Once the desired width has been achieved, let go of the mouse button.
- The column or columns that you want to alter should be selected. Click Format in the Cells group under the Home tab. Click Column Width under Cell Size. Enter the desired value in the Column width box.
- Select the column or columns you wish to modify before using the keyboard shortcut to change the column width in Excel. Press the + key while continuing to hold down the Alt key. The column width will widen as a result. Hold down the Alt key while pressing the - key to reduce column width.
- In order for creation of biomolecules to outpace cellular degradation of biomolecules via the proteasome, lysosome, or autophagy, the overall rate of cellular biosynthesis must increase in order for cells to expand.
