Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

selling price for each box= 1400

profit=10‰

if C.P= 100 then S.P=100+10 =110 percent

then cost price for one box=(1400×100/110)

                                            =(1400×10/11)=rs. 1272.727272

loss=10‰

if C.P=100 THEN S.P=100-10=90 percent

then cost price of another box=(1400×100/90)

                                                  =(1400×10/9)=rs.1555.555555=1555.6

total S.P=1400+1400=rs.2800

total C.P=1272.73+1555.6

             =2828.3

total C.P is more than total S.P

therefore there is loss = total C.P-totalS.P

                                     =2828.2827-2800=28.2827=28.3(by round off)

loss percent=loss/C.P ×100

                    =(28.3/2828.3)100

                    =(0.0100060)100

                   =1.00060 percent
