Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let X amount is invested by raghu;

10 of x is = 0.10x;

Mona invested X-0.1X = 0.9X; (10% less than raghu)

Sonu invested 0.9X- 0.9X (10/100) = 0.81 X (10% less than mona)

Total investment = X+0.9X+0.81X = 5780;

2.71X = 5780;

X = 2132.84 (Invest made by Raghu)

Answer:

Amount invested by Raghu = Rs. 2000

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the amount invested by Raghu = R

Mona (M) Invested 10% less tahn Raghu

∴ Investmenet of mona = M = R - 10% of R

∴ M = R - 0.1R  =  0.9R

∴ Investment by Mona (M) = 0.9R  ......(1)

Sonu invested 10 % more than mona

∴ Investment by Sonu (S) = M + 10% of M

∴ S = M + 0.1M

.. Subtituting value of M from eqn (1), we get,

S = 0.9R + 0.1×(0.9R)

∴ S = 0.99R

∴ Investment by Sonu (S) = 0.99R ..... (2)

Total investment given = 5780

∴ R + M + S = 5780

Substituting values of M and S from eqn -(1) & (2) ...

∴ R +0.9R + 0.99R = 5780

∴ 2.89R = 5780

∴ R = 5780 ÷ 2.89

∴ R = 2000

∴Amount invested by Raghu = Rs. 2000
