Answer:

Volume of the small cubes = l × b × h

=> 1 × 1 × 1 => 1 inch³

Total Cubes = 64,

So, Volume of the Container Cube -

=> 64 x 1 inch³ = 64 inch³

Hence, formula for Volume of Cube = a³

So,

=> 64 inch³ = a³

=> a = 3√64 inch³

=> a = 4 inch

Hence, the length of the side of the container is 4 inch

Answer:

let the side of the container be a

no. of cubes which completely fill the container =64 cubes

length of one side of cube = 1inch or 2.5 cm

therefore side of container = 1inch*64

=64 inch

1 inch=2.5cm

side of container = ( 64*2.5 ) cm

= 160cm
