Concept Introduction:-

It might resemble a word or a number representation of the quantity's arithmetic value.

Given Information:-

We have been given that Sophie is painting sculptures. She has hers of paint and liters of thinner. She mixes the point 8/9 7/8 and thinner, and uses one and a half liters of the solution to point 2 sculptures.

To Find:-

We have to find that solution is Sophie left with

Solution:-

According to the problem

Let the paint be \frac{8}{9}

Let the thinner be \frac{7}{8}

\therefore \frac{8}{9}+ \frac{7}{8}\\=\frac{64+63}{72}\\=\frac{127}{72}\\=1.76

Remaining solution=1.76-1\frac{1}{2}\\=1.76-\frac{3}{2}\\=1.76-1.5\\=0.26

Final Answer:-

The remaining solution is 0.26.
