(i) Ar(ABC) =

 \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h

 =  \frac{16 \times 12}{2}

 = 96 \:  {cm}^{2}

(ii) Ar(ACD) =

 \frac{1}{2} \times b \times h

 =  \frac{29 \times 12}{2}

 = 174 \:  {cm}^{2}

(iii) Ar(ABCD) = Ar(ABC) + Ar(ACD)

 = 96 + 174

 = 270 \:  {cm}^{2}
