We have :
AP : 4, 8, 12, .....
Here, the common difference (d) is 4
So, nth term = a + (n - 1)d = 4 + (n - 1)4 = 4n
If 302 is a term of the given AP, then this would be of the form '4n', where n is a natural number.
=> 4n = 302
=> n = 75½
Now, since 'n' is here a fraction, hence it will not be a term of the given AP.
Hope it'll help you.....
