Tidal forest is a type of forest that grows along the sea side. Mangrove forest comprises mostly of salt tolerant trees and shrubs. This type of forest can be found in the delta regions of river Ganga, Godavari, Kaveri, Krishna and more.  

Floral species of this region is found to be adapted to that harsh environment. They are evolved to survive.
