Answer :

Two articles each cost Rs.50

Means total Cost Price = Rs.50 + Rs.50

=> Total Cost Price (C.P) = Rs.100 -----(1)

Acc.to Question :

25% profit on Rs.50 and 25% loss on Rs.50

Profit :

Selling Price = C.P( 100+25/100 )

=> S.P 1 = 50(125/100) = 125/2

S.P 1 = 125/2 Rs.

Loss :

Selling Price = C.P( 100- 25/100 )

=> S.P 2 = 50( 75/100 )

S.P 2 = 75/2 Rs.

Total Selling Price : Add S.P 1 & S.P 2

Total S.P = S.P 1 +S.P 2

=> S.P = 125/2 + 75/2

=> S.P = 200/2

=> S.P = 100

Overall Sell Price = Rs.100 ------(2)

Conclusion : So From equations (1) and (2)

we observe that Soumya bought two articles at Rs.100 ( 50+50 ) and Sell at same price Rs.100

so there is No Loss & Profit

Therefore No Loss & Profit
