. Sound cannot travel through a vacuum. Avacuum is an area without any air, like space. So sound cannot travel throughspace because there is no matter for the vibrations to work in.

NO ITS NOT CORRECT BECAUSE SOUND NEEDED A MEDIUM TO TRAVEL WHERE THERE ARE PARTICLES TO TRANSFER SOUND
