Sound iis heard in 2 sec after the lightning is seen in the sky in a cloudy day . Find the distance of the location of the lightning , if the speed of sound is 346 m/s

Sound os heard in 2 or more seconds after the lightning is seen in the sky so the distance where the lightning takes place is =

Distance = speet * time

so here speed is = 346 m/s

and time = 2s

distance = s * t

= 346 * 2= 692 metre

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

speed of sound per second 346 m/sec.

Time=2 seconds.

So distance is:

=2 x 345= 690 meter OR 0.69 kilommmmeter
