SOUND NEEDS A MEDIUM BECAUSE WHEN SOUND PRODUCED IT MOSTLY TRAVELS IN AIR AND ITS PARTICLE VIBRATE AND REACHES ARE HERE BUT IN CASE OF LIGHT IT DOESN'T THIS IS BECAUSE SOUND IS A LONGITUDINAL WAVE WHICH TRAVELS IN A MEDIUM IT REQUIRED FOR MEDIUM BUT LIGHTWAVE A TRANSVERSE WAVE THEY DOESN'T REQUIRED ANY MEDIUM LIGHT WAVES ARE ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES...
HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU ❤️ ❤️

This is true that sound need medium because when sound is produced it mostly travels in air and makes the air particle vibrate but but in case of light the sound we hear comes directly in our ear drum and we hear that voice because the speed of light is very fast due to this sound produced in lights come vastly and hence don't need any medium
