Sound travels through solids , liquids and gases but why not through vacuum ?​

Because there are no particles for sound to travel from one to another particle in vacuum

We know that vibrations produce sound. to produce vibrations, we need a material body. Therefore we say that sound needs a medium to travel.Sound needs molecules to vibrate and there are no air, water or solid molecules in the vacuum. Hence, sound cannot travel through vacuum
