Answer:

Explanation:

Hey mate, your answer would be-

we know time period =1/frequency

therefore, frequency=1/time period

=1/0.025Hz

=1000/25Hz (on multiplying both of them by 1000 to remove points and ease it)

=40 Hz.

Answer:

Wave A has greatest frequency

Explanation:

It is given that,

Time period of sound wave A, T_A=0.015\ s

Time period of sound wave B, T_B=0.025\ s

The inverse of time period is used to find the frequency of the wave as :

f=\dfrac{1}{T}

For wave A,

f_A=\dfrac{1}{T_A}

f_A=\dfrac{1}{0.015\ Hz}

f_A=66.66\ Hz

For wave B,

f_B=\dfrac{1}{T_B}

f_B=\dfrac{1}{0.025\ Hz}

f_B=40\ Hz

It is clear that the frequency of wave A is 66.66 Hz and that of wave B is 40 Hz. So, frequency of wave A is more.
