Answer:

i)If A is travelling in water and B is travelling in CO₂,

Then sound wave A will be traveling faster than wave B

Because sound travels faster in liquids than in gases

ii) If A is travelling in CO₂ and B is travelling in hydrogen,

Then sound wave B will be traveling faster than wave A

Because sound wave travels faster in a medium with lower density and hydrogen has lower density than CO₂

Answer:

  1. Water
  2. Co2

Explanation:

  • Water molecules are close to each other as they vibrates quickly thats why the sound waves will travel faster.
  • The dencity of co2 is higher than hydrogen therefore co2 will travel more faster
