Given: The ten's place of two digit number is two more than ones place.

Let ten's digit be x then ones as y.

→ x = y + 2

Given: Square of ten's digit exceeds ones digit by 9 times.

→ x² = 9y

→ (y + 2)² = 9y

→ y² + 4 + 4y = 9y

→ y² - 5y + 4 = 0

→ y² - 4y - y + 4 = 0

→ y(y - 4) - 1(y - 4) = 0

→ (y - 4)(y - 1) = 0

→ y = 4 and 1

Hence, x = 2 + 4 and x = 2 + 1

→ x = 6 and 3.

Thus, either number is 64 or 31.
