According to the problem,

The S.P. of 10 articles is 11n.

∴ Gain = (S.P.-C.P.)

           = (11n-10n)

           = n

∴ Gain% =(n/10n)×100

               =(n×100/10n)

              =(100/10)

              = 10%

∴ The gain is 10%
