Answer:

I) shift 1 and ii) 56 customers

Explanation:

i) We can clearly see that the number of customers increasing in shift one per every hour is more than the rest two ahifts ( 10-2 = 8 customers) . so it's shift (I).

ii) The number of customers increasing in shift one every hour = 8 customers

Duration time of shift 1 = 4hours ( 8am-12pm )

therefore, customers accumulated by the end of 11am = 8×4 = 32 customers.

The number of customers increasing in shift 2 every hour = 18-12 = 6customers.

duration of shift 2 = 4hours (12pm to 4pm )

customers accumulated at the end of 3pm

= 6×4=24 customers.

In shift three we can clearly see that the number of customers accumulated at the end of every hour is 0 ( 5-20= -15/0 customers )

therefore, at the end of 7pm , customers accumulated = 0

So now, by adding the accumulated customers, we get = 56 customers.

hence, 56 customers are present at the closing moments of the shop .

hope it's correct !

thanks !!
