Of course, there are some advantages of fashion, but just like anything else in the world of mortals, fashion does have a number of disadvantages besides its benefits. If, on one hand, it enables the individuals to enjoy life at its fullest, on the other hand, it is likely to make the life miserable too. Fashion demands its followers to keep in pace with the changing trends which, at times, becomes extremely difficult to adopt. To cope with such harsh circumstances, the fashion-lovers often become desperate and don’t hesitate to go for unfair means. Fashion can rightly be called another name of extravagancy as it requires people to spend money lavishly on things which are not that much important for survival or happy living. That is why, it can be considered one of the greatest disadvantages of fashion. As fashion is never static and keeps on changing with the passage of time, so the followers of new trends have to spend a lot of money for every new and more expansive thing.
