Two Heads are Better than One

More the number of people involved, more the number of perspectives we receive. When one person looks at something, there is only one angle that is visible to her but when there are two, the possibilities double. With discussions and debates, we widen our thoughts, as does the other person. We learn things, we find the loopholes in others. Of course, this does not mean that one has to sacrifice all of one's ideas for the others. Both need to respect the other's views and opinions.

One must always remember to never ridicule ideas that differ from ours. Everybody has a different take on the subject. In stead of being judgemental or prejudiced, one needs to try and understand the other perspective. Always try to think from the other person's shoes.

Two heads are better than one but never forget that too many cooks spoil the broth. Discuss ideas with people who are familiar with the topics you want to discuss and decide a limit for yourself, beyond which you shouldn't let a person influence you.
