Ambition is a word which means having strong desire to achieve something.yes i think that it is the "ladder to success" because sometimes it often happens that we get success because of ambition.Ambition is a desire ,hope to make a way to success and we all have ambitions which makes our dreams come true ,it is something that leads our way to success. When we have ambitions we have a strong desire to achieve it .success is something win through ambition.when we got ambitions,we have taken the first step to success.yes, i agree its the "ladder to success".
