Valmiki Jayanti' is an acclaimed celebration of Hindus. It is praised as the birthday of acclaimed poet Maharshi Valmiki. It's other name is 'Balmiki Jayanti'. Valmiki Jayanti falls on the full moon day (Purnima) in the period of Ashwin as indicated by Hindu Calendar. This day is extraordinarily exceptionally famous in the Northern India and is known as 'Pargat Diwas'.
Maharshi Valmiki is otherwise called 'Adi kavi' or first artist as he found the primary Sloka, ie, the main verse which set the base of Sanskrit verse. Valmiki is the creator of the well known Hindu epic Ramayana and one of the best holy people of the antiquated world. His entire life and lessons have constantly urged Humans to battle against the social injustice.
