One of the best ways to make sure you stay active and not go back to old bad habits is to play a sport, or sports, depending on how fit and healthy you want to get. Instead of taking a random hour out of your day to run around and be active, you could just join a sports team because in any sport you’re most likely going to run. And running is the leading way to get yourself healthy and in shape. Sports are also a way of making being active fun. Sports are very fun things to do, and you can really end up enjoying it. You don`t have to worry about kids making fun of you if you are not good at the sport, because your doing it in to try to get in shape, not to impress anybody. Who knows you might end up really loving the sport, and could be hooked on it for life. And if that happened you know you would able to stay fit for the rest of your life because you would always be playing that sport.
Being active and being a fit person not only makes you lose weight, and prevent you from sicknesses, but it also gives you a high self esteem about yourself. People that don`t exercise more than likely have a lower self esteem than the person that works out sixty minutes a day because they look good and feel good about themselves because of what they have done. When you’re doing what you’re supposed to do staying active sixty minutes a day you start to develop a good feeling about yourself. You say to yourself, there are only one in twenty people in the world that do what I do, and it makes you feel very proud about yourself. When you feel good about yourself you get things done. Getting things done and not putting things off is also a key reason why being active is important. Don`t be a procrastinator and put things off until the last second when you have free time, and you can get done whatever has to be done. Be a doer, and do what you`re supposed to do.
There are many ways to get started in exercise. It doesn't really matter what you do as long as you do something. The most popular option is walking. But if you find that boring, try biking or joining a gym. Join in a water aerobics class. Join a hiking club. If you really don`t know what to do, invest in an hour or two work out session with a
personal trainer, who can assess your needs and help devise a program that meets them. Be sure the trainer is certified, because if you get someone to train that does not know what they are talking about you can hurt yourself. You have so many options about what you could do to get active it`s unbelievable. But whatever you pick make sure that it contributes
