child labour is a major concern of our nation  .. small innocent children are put to work instead of sending them to schools.. this usually happens in rural areas where the parents are not educated and feel there is no need for the child to go to study and he\ she can continue in the family business.another reason why children are not sent to school is because of the less income earned by the parents.
the government has set up various govt schools in rural areas as  well as the cities . even though the govt has soo put in alot of efforts not all parents feel education is important .even if the child cannot handle the burdenb of the job thier doing they stilll have to continue.
recently a law had stated that children below the age of 15 cannot work and have to go to school.this law has bought a change in the society and literacy rates are going higher per year...

Child Labour is a condition , where small children go to work. Because of their economic problems.

It is being done in India on a large scale.

And it is banned too .

Ways to eradicate child labour :

By spreading awareness among people we can eradicate child labour.
Generally the child of poor families work as Child labour.
So , there must be more employment among the poor people.
Government should provide more jobs .
By reducing poverty we can eradicate the child labour.
By promoting education in the rural and Poor areas.
By supplying food in those rural and Poor families.
The National Population Policy 2000 strongly focused on this problem. It also takes many steps to eridicate the child labour.
It strongly focused on educating the children of age 6-14 .
It provides mid day meals also in government schools so that the children do not work for getting food.
