Good morning, my dear friends, teachers and respected principal sir. I am XYZ here to give speech on children's day.

First up all I welcome you all to the celebration of children's day. Children's day is dedicated to children to commemorate the work and love put in by our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, this marks his 132nd anniversary.

Panditji shared an affectionate relationship with the children and was referred to as "Chachaji" or "Chacha Nehru".  He all his life admired and loved children irrespective of their caste, creed , religion, culture or financial background. Children's day is a tribute to Chacha Nehru and his thoughts on the children and their contribution in a nation's progress.
